Study on Heating Performance and Flexural Strength Properties of Electrically Conductive Mortar

The use of electrically conductive mortar (ECM) is a relatively new construction material technology developed to obtain high conductivity and mechanical strength. This study presents an experimental investigation on the heating performance flexural strength properties ECM mixed with carbon fiber (CF) steel (SF), which are fibers. Furthermore, internal microstructure was analyzed scanning electron microscope (SEM) thermogravimetric analysis carried out using analyzer (TGA) device. results experiment showed that incorporation SF had little effect performance. In case CF, however, it found as contents applied voltages increased, increased. particular, maximum temperature ECM-CF125 specimen 145.1 °C at voltage 30 V electrode spacing 40 mm, about 7.3 times higher than initial (20 °C). addition, plain (PM), whereas greater tendency significantly decrease. It confirmed hydration products microstructures specimens were unaffected by repetitive electrical heating, maintained stable conductivity.
